Red Said Fred: Optimus, but with a different kind of lime

Reddy (heh) for a new twist on Optimus Lime? Red Said Fred (thanks Nieve for the name) is made with red centre limes (thanks Sally for the fruit) and nothing else.
Whole red centre limes are soaked in spirit until they give up their colour, and more are added to the distillation. A CSIRO-developed hybrid between mandarins and finger limes, red centred limes produce vodka that's slightly more crisp and a touch more bitter than Optimus.
Enjoy Red Said Fred with soda, or pop it into your favourite tiki cocktail.
